Research on flow field and air supply structure improvement of Fuzhuan tea drying rooms

It is found that the problem of uneven wind speed and temperature distribution in the cargo area occurs due to the unreasonable design of the air supply structure in the drying room with numerical simulation and experimental tests of air flow and heat transfer in the drying room of a tea factory producing Fuzhuan tea. In view of the existing problems, the design of the air supply structure is improved by designing uniform air supply ducts and adding louvers at the air outlets. The results show that the improved air supply structure can evenly distribute the air volume, reducing the wind speed unevenness index at the monitoring points in the cargo area from 186.30% to 74.12%,and increasing the air diffusion performance index from 59.38% to 90.66%. The uniformity of the velocity and temperature fields in the cargo area of the drying room is improved.
